NONPAREIL SLOOP

NONPAREIL SLOOP:

A gaff rigged modified sharpie…

Nonpareils roots can be traced back to the Chesapeake bay boats of the late 1800’s. Newly designed for today’s sailor  by Phillip H. Kendrick. Perfect for the small family or the old salt who just wants to enjoy a quiet afternoon sail. This trailerable shallow draft day sailor with kick up rudder and 8″ draft with the board up, will allow you to explore areas that bigger boat just can’t get to.

A fun day sailer with a comfortable cockpit with plenty of storage under fore deck to keep belongings out of the weather. If camp cruising is your goal, this little sloop maybe just the one you have been looking for.

Our Nonpareil is built employing today’s modern methods and materials. High grade marine plywood over spruce frames. Double epoxy coated, dynel decks, Spanish cedar transom, combings and trim.

Varnished spruce spars, bronze hardware, dacron sails and Kirby paints (your choice of colors).
